The story of Hempleman Hotmix
Hempleman Hotmix is a family-owned, hand-lay asphalt business that was inherited by Dave Hempleman from his father. Six years ago, Dave decided to keep Hempleman as a family-owned business and sold it to us. Our team comprises of experienced individuals with a combined knowledge of over 60+ years. This includes John, who has over 40+ years of construction industry knowledge, as well as Mathew and Chelsie, who worked at Fulton Hogan for 12 years between them in the paving division and the Lab. Our team has grown from a crew of 4 that could lay 120sq m a day to a crew of 7 that can now lay 800+sq m in a day.
